It is the aim of Carlton Hall Residential Home to give our residents the opportunity to improve their quality of life by providing a safe, happy, caring and comfortable family home.
To achieve our aim, ourselves and our staff will give our residents the right and opportunity to participate in the everyday decisions in running the home and we would recognise the following values which contribute to the quality of life for most people.
The right to personal independence, personal choice and personal responsibility for their own actions.
To have their personal privacy for themselves, their affairs, and their belongings respected.
To have their personal dignity respected in every way possible. Their individuality and personal needs treated with respect.
The right of every individual to select independently from a range of choices.
The right of every individual to act and think without reference to another person, even where this may incur a degree of calculated risk.
The right to achieve their potential capacity, physical, intellectual, emotional and social abilities in all aspects of daily life.
A list of current staff and their qualifications is available on request and on display in the Home.
