The Village is set in 10 acres of grounds and now encompasses some ‘very sheltered’ bungalows, which are individually owned and set in landscaped grounds. Each Bungalow has a patio and garden area for their sole use. To ensure the bungalows and grounds are kept to a high standard, the grounds and external maintenance will remain the responsibility of the home, and are covered by a maintenance contract between the freeholder of the bungalow and the home, payable quarterly in advance.
Seasonal planting is undertaken by the home throughout the village including the gardens around the bungalows
Each bungalow has nurse call points for assistance, emergency assistance and a direct phone line to the main Hall which is manned 24 hours a day.
If care is required for medical or personal care needs, this will be individually assessed and agreed with the bungalow resident to provide however many hours per day and is charged per half hour via a monthly invoice, payable in arrears. The care is provided by our own fully trained carers from the main home.
We provide, if required, domestic help for chores such as ironing, washing up, cleaning from our own domestic staff, charged per half hour, invoiced monthly in arrears.
Full meal facilities are also available freshly cooked from our own kitchens, and our chef is more than happy to arrange individual menu choice and size, as required, for delivery to your doorstep. Meals are charged individually and invoiced monthly in arrears
The Village is made up of a variety of accommodation choices, set in the beautiful and well maintained grounds of the 18th Century Carlton Hall.

The Hall is located centrally in the Village grounds with ample parking facilities.
Our residents in The Hall are individually needs assessed to encourage an active and enjoyable lifestyle, with daily activities, beautiful outdoor surroundings and delicious seasonal menus.
The original Granary and Bakehouse, adjacent to The Hall, have been fully restored and converted into 15 luxury, ensuite bedrooms with outdoor courtyards and patio areas.
Fully accessible to wheelchair users, the Granary provides upstairs areas offering beautiful views over the grounds.
