Carlton Hall Residential Village is situated in the village of Carlton Colville, on the edge of Lowestoft in Suffolk.
The Village is made up of a variety of accommodation choices, set in the beautiful and well maintained grounds of the 18th Century Carlton Hall. All of our residents are invited to participate in a wide range of daily activities and annual events which are well attended by the local community.
Our aim is to give our residents the opportunity to improve their quality of life by providing a safe, happy, caring and comfortable family home.

The Hall is located centrally in the Village grounds with ample parking facilities.
Our residents in The Hall are individually needs assessed to encourage an active and enjoyable lifestyle, with daily activities, beautiful outdoor surroundings and delicious seasonal menus.
The original Granary and Bakehouse, adjacent to The Hall, have been fully restored and converted into 15 luxury, ensuite bedrooms with outdoor courtyards and patio areas.
Fully accessible to wheelchair users, the Granary provides upstairs areas offering beautiful views over the grounds.
We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission. Our current rating is Good.
We are delighted to report that our recent CQC inspection has rated us Good (Green) in every category. Our thanks go to all the staff for their hard work and dedication to the continued care & well-being of our residents.

Regarding the pre school children’s group that visits – ‘ It is lovely to see the little ones, they brighten our day’
‘The new management is very approachable and they do listen. I think the home is well managed. They check on everything around the home’
