what a very exciting day for the staff and residents today, behind the scenes for several months, hard work and organising has been going on by staff to set up our new befriending service. Residents were introduced to the first intake of volunteers and we are thrilled at the response . we have a full diary of further volunteers starting over the next few weeks and As we appreciate this could be overwhelming for our residents, we have prepared them and we have also done a staggered start for the group of 12 recruits
thank you to all involved in this very important project and I’m excited to see this progress into a wonderfully welcomed addition to our service.
