Carlton Hall Residential Village is situated in the village of Carlton Colville, on the edge of Lowestoft in Suffolk. Carlton Hall itself was built in the 18th Century, on the site of the first Hall built in 1088 by Sir Gilbert De-Colville, a general in the army of William the Conquerer.

It was originally converted into a residential Home for the elderly in 1996 by the previous owners. The Village now consists of the main home of 35 beds, with a secure 10 bed dementia unit, plus 15 additional luxury rooms, now available within the Granary and Bakehouse conversions attached to the main home. All rooms throughout the home have ensuite facilities, nursecall and additional lounge and bathroom facilities are also provided around the home.

Additional facilities include an inhouse hairdressing salon and nail manicures/massage

Set within the grounds are a number of detached sheltered bungalows, individually owned but for whom we provide care, services and maintenance and many of these residents enjoy taking part in the activities and events provided in the main home and grounds.

The setting is beautiful, peaceful and secure.

The whole of the outside areas, including two meadows, a coppice and nature walk, ponds and landscaped gardens. The grounds are fully fenced in with controlled entrance and exit gates and CCTV cameras in operation on gates 24 hours per day.
